What’s your refund policy?

Because of the nature of these products (digital products) with immediate delivery, we do not offer refunds for purchases because you can’t unring a bell. However, we want you to be happy, so if you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

Who created this contract template?

The Legal Pad contracts were created by Tyra Hughley Smith, an attorney who focuses on business protection and intellectual property (trademark and copyright) and who works with various business owners and creative entrepreneurs worldwide.

How soon can I download my template after purchase?

Your contracts will be delivered immediately upon payment and you can download them at any time after that. We will provide you with a link for access.

What is the difference between contract templates and contract clauses?

Contract templates are complete standalone documents that contain all of the provisions you need. Contract clauses are individual classes that you can add into your existing template. So, for example, if you have a contract template that is missing major “boilerplate” language but is otherwise complete, you can grab the appropriate contract clauses to add to your existing contract. Or, you can sign up for the Fine Print Mastery course which contains various contract clause examples and a workshop to detail what they mean and their usage.

What if I need help editing my template or 1-on-1 assistance?

The Legal Pad does not offer contract drafting services. If you wish to have an attorney assist, you can contact an attorney in your local area, or reach out to Hughley Smith Law at info@hughleysmithlaw.com to discuss custom contract drafting and if the firm can be of service. Please note that purchasing these contract templates do not create an attorney client relationship with Hughley Smith Law or Tyra Hughley Smith.

Can I share the contract templates or provide third party access to my membership?

No, per the terms of use, you may not share any contract templates or provide third party access to your Legal Pad purchases or account. Specifically:

  • You agree not to provide any third-party access to your purchases, downloads, membership or site login or account. You agree your membership is for your personal business use only.

  • You agree not to share any contracts obtained from Legal Pad with any third party for their usage outside of the scope of your personal usage for your business.

  • You agree not to use any Legal Pad contract templates for usage outside of your personal business, including commercial usage or reselling any portion of any agreement obtained from Legal Pad. The templates are for your individual business use only.

  • The intent is that each individual or business obtain their own Legal Pad membership or purchase products separately.

  • You may not distribute or allow third party access to the Legal Pad site or any materials, including contract templates, provided as part of your membership and/or account.

Do you have an affiliate program?
